2022 Review of the Latest Yamaha R1 & R1M Specifications. If we talk about supersport class motorbikes, it feels incomplete if we don’t write about the Yamaha R1 in Indonesia. Yes, the Yamaha R1 is a Japanese manufacturer motorbike that has contributed to Yamaha’s achievements at the Endurance World Championshiop (EWC), WSBK1000, and Suzuka 8 Hours.

As you know, Yamaha has a long history of building sports bikes designed for on and off the racing circuit. Yamaha R1 and R1M are the result of engine and technology development based on their experience of participating in MotoGP, WSBK1000, MotoAmerica Superbike racing events and the grueling demands of the Endurance World Championship.

The latest versions of the Yamaha R1 and R1M have improved the aerodynamics of this bike. Inspired by the design of their racing motorbike at the MOTOGP event, this motorcycle manufacturer with the Garputala logo provides a fairing that is integrated with the tank’s curve. This is claimed to increase the aerodynamic side by more than 5 percent and provide extra comfort with a wider driver seat.

In addition, the aluminum air ducts from the front to the rear of this motorbike can reduce the pressure on the rider when driving in a tuck position. For lighting, Yamaha provides LED lighting for the front, rear and turn signal lights. Especially for the turn signal, on the latest generation you will find a turn signal on the rearview mirror.
