Specifications and Features of Yamaha Xsr700 2022

Overview

Specifications and Features of Yamaha Xsr700 2022. Customers Yamaha XSR700 looks even more impressive, especially the motorcycle design to answer consumer demand for a classic-style engine with performance that meets today’s sporting standards. To achieve this goal, Yamaha started with the MT-07 (formerly known as the FZ-07). The core components-engine, frame and suspension- are identical, with only the “Sport Heritage” cosmetic that distinguishes the two models, but what about the Specifications and Features of the 2022 Yamaha Xsr700.

Despite the round headlights, taillights and LCD instrument panel, plus the addition of a reshaped gas tank and stubborn seats, the general character of the XSR700 is very similar to its sportier-looking sibling. Compared to the previous-generation FZ-07, the KYB suspension features 6 percent stiffer fork springs, 11 percent stiffer shock springs, and a corresponding increase in damping.
On the road, those changes proved beneficial, increasing stability and feeling for maximum lean angles. The previous FZ-07 would have wallowed in the midcorner, while the stiffer XSR setup provides a more planted feel that gives riders the confidence to brake later and bring more speed. Pirelli Phantom Sportscomp tires with a retro tread pattern complement the suspension changes and provide excellent feel and grip.

Subtle changes were also made to the ergonomics for a more upright riding position. The seat height is slightly higher (32.9 inches versus 31.7 in.) and the handlebars are nearly 3 in. wider. At 5-foot-7, I fit in well, with comfortable reach to the handlebars and plenty of legroom; Taller riders shouldn’t have a problem either. My only complaint is that the loveseat is cut to my comfort quotient after only 50 miles or so.
Opening the throttle on the 689cc parallel twin makes the inconvenience a distant memory. Consumers really hope that the Specifications and Features of the 2022 Yamaha Xsr700, especially in the engine, can offer 1000 cc. This compact powerplant is renowned for its torsion properties, and pointing the front wheels to the sky under hard acceleration is no problem. The XSR actually pulled off at around 5,500 rpm, and a strong delivery was only negotiable near the red line. Initial throttle response is impressive, direct without being too sudden at lower speeds.

Good brakes are essential to reducing all that vapor, so Yamaha equipped the XSR700 with Advics Monoblocks clamping 282mm discs at the front with a Nissin unit at the rear. This combination manages the need for stopping well, even if the lack of feel in the front lever hinders its true potential. ABS is standard and only intervenes during overly enthusiastic low speed braking.
This modern show and timeless style caters to both exploring the open road and kicking tires at the coffee shop. At $8,499, the Yamaha XSR700 costs $900 more than the MT-07, but if you really like that classic look and don’t mind a little extra cash, the XSR700 might be the bike for you. As for me, though, I’d rather pocket the difference and buy more coffee.
