Main characteristics
Compact and powerful engine
With an ultra-compact, ultra-compact 1199cc parallel twin engine and a unique 270° crank for incredible torque and traction, the ice super tether is made for adventure. The mass of the motor remains low for major manipulations. The engine is an ultra-thin and compact two-cylinder online for chiseling lines meticulously on winding mountain roads.
Electronic suspension
The electronically defined suspension makes it easy to find the right setting at the push of a button. With four pre-adjusted settings, three attenuation presets and seven additional attachment adjustments, the super ténéré ice suspension can be perfectly interpreted to suit the needs of the rider, number of passengers and terrain.
Multipurpose transmission
The six-speed transmission ratio has straight gears, whether on the open road or off-road. The closed axle driver is protected from items while providing direct and reactive connections.
Advanced fuel injection
Dwin Injection Downtraft Body Body with YCC-T (YAMAHA Controlled Acceleration DINT) provides optimal control and acceleration. Two-position “D-Mode” Butterfly response (drive mode) allows the rider to adjust mapping conditions or preferences.
Traction control
Traction control allows the rider to latch on to the gas with confidence. This highly sophisticated system regulates ignition timing, fuel injection and throttle valve opening based on wheel rotation, providing a smooth response that doesn’t abruptly resemble its competitors. Guaranteed braking
The Super Yamaha Ténéré Ice has an anti-lock braking system (ABS) and an integrated braking system (UBS). With the UBS, pressing the front brake lever also provides rear wheel braking while depressing the rear brake first, replacing the UB first for traditional front and rear braking action.

Motorcycle ready for adventure
The motor’s compact design uses a dry water oil supply in the engine bath to increase floor clearance while a radiator mounted next to super-tethered ice is surprisingly narrow, protecting rock and shale.
Advanced fuel injection
A twin-boron boron fuel injection system with 12-hole injectors attaches to on- or off-road adventures and does the same for commuting at home and on long open expressways.
Traction control
YCC-BW’s proven World YCC-T technology enables an advanced traction control system by adjusting ignition timing and fuel injection opening volume and rear wheel rotation accelerator valve. Three driver selection modes are available to suit driver conditions and preferences.
Shipping control
The Super Ténéré Ice includes a roaming control system powered by the YCC-T. Drivers can easily select or adjust the specified speed to facilitate road visits on the highway.
D-Mode Accelerator
The Yamaha D-Mode Mode Accelerator offers two response settings: “T-Mode” for touring and directing the public for a softer response and “S-Mode” for sports channels when the driver wants maximum performance.

Steel frame designed to reduce runner for a long journey. The use of a steel main frame offers the best balance of resistance and flexibility, helping to absorb shocks with uneven road surfaces.
Guaranteed braking
The ABS Braking System (UBS) works together to avoid locking the wheels when braking. This system allows the rider to simultaneously operate the front and rear brakes by simply pulling the front brake lever, which is especially useful when driving on the ankle. The application of the rear brake was the first to replace the UBS to provide separate prior and rear braking control.
Custom comfort
The Es Super Yamaha Ténéré is equipped with a windshield and a special seat height. The one-inch seat height adjustment provides a lower height for shorter runners or a wider control position for taller riders in tall positions, while the windshield can be easily adjusted to 2.3 inches vertically without tools.
Ergonomics ready for adventure
The UN-defined cut demonstrates Yamaha’s interest in retail. When the rider is seated, the rubber cushions offer great comfort. When the rider has to cope with more technical driving conditions, compress the rubber that allows the motorcycle boot to touch the metal toe surface.

The optional flexible luggage system design has three possible settings: standard without top housing or side pockets, top housing installed or side housing installed. Included in the bike’s design, this accessory lets you see a super tethered ice look.
